The rotor and hat have a floating mount system, which utilizes 8 or 10 high strength alloy steel drive pins, manufactured by GiroDisc in the USA to our own specifications and cadmium plated for a long lasting corrosion resistance. These pins take the load from braking actions while maintaining the axial and radial float between the hat and disc. The pins are secured by grade 12 cap screws with hardened washers. In order to keep the rotors from making noise when cold, the pins are mounted with anti-noise spring washers on the rotor side which allow the rotor to grow with heat expansion but eliminate the rattle and noise associated with floating rotors. This float also allows the rotor to self center between the pads.
Once the GiroDisc system is in place, simply replace the cast iron rotor when needed - contact us for replacements.

NOTE: When converting from carbon ceramic brakes to GiroDisc iron rotors we STRONGLY recommend replacing all four rotors in order to maintain the factory brake bias and controlled braking in all driving conditions.

Scott K was my sales person. He responded immediately on the web and continued to deal with me on the phone. I purchased a valvetronic system for my R8 and it came out beautifully. We had a hiccup during the process where the system failed their QC process. It took an additional 3 days to get the exhaust, but the expedited it and threw in some swag for the trouble. All-in-all, these guys know how to deal with supercar customers and want to make sure that the VERY small community is well cared for. I'm incredibly happy so far and would highly recommend them.
Couldn't be happier. I wanted to add a little power to my Porsche 911 Carrera S (997.1) but didn't want check engine lights or obnoxious sound. I worked with Jason and ended up getting a GT3 throttle body and an IPD plenum with a BMC air filter and the famous Fabspeed Sport exhaust. I seriously couldn't be happier. Talk about bang for your buck! It's a whole new car. Everything works together perfectly. No torque loss at all, in fact, I found some. Mid range is more alive and she just doesn't stop pulling now. The sounds is pretty much the same at low RPMs but my God when you jump on it, it sounds fantastic. No highway drone at all. I was considering the x-pipe cat delete but Jason explained that Porsches, especially naturally aspirated (non turbo) like a little back pressure and if I was not looking for too aggressive sound I should stick with what he suggested. He knows his stuff because the car is now exactly everything I had hoped for. Best car money I have ever spent.
Was there for Porsche club event. Staff was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful with my questions about track upgrades for my car. The place was as clean as an operating room. Attention to detail in their engineering and fabrication were impressive. Looking forward to having them do some work for me.
Purchased the Competition Intake System from Fabspeed for my 996 Carrera. Fast shipping and great quality. The fit and finish of this product is second to none. Installation took no time at all and the mod really livens up the car. When you're at 4k rpm the noise that comes from that thing is incredible. Great customer service that quickly answers any questions too. I plan on buying headers from them this winter.
I reached out to Fabspeed via their chat feature on their website and made a deal with their representative on the spot. They called me within a matter of minutes to get my information and a few days later I had my exhaust for my 1988 Carrera. Perfect fit and finish! And did I mention it sounds great!
