The Supersport X-Pipe Exhaust System will bring out a deeper, throatier tone from your 991 Carrera's flat six with a substantial increase in volume.
POWER:
Our final design of the Supersport X-Pipe saw an increase of 13 whp and 11 ft/lbs of tq at 6400 RPM and an impressive 27 whp and 37 ft/lbs of tq at 3800 RPM. You'll feel the increase in power and throttle response throughout the RPM band.
FEATURES:
NOTE: For vehicles equipped with Porsche Sport Exhaust (PSE), this product replaces the factory center muffler PSE system. As such, the "exhaust sound option button" will no longer be functional. I couldn't recommend this exhaust more. The deep tone upon startup and revving is much sportier and has a really high-end sound. The burbles through the rev range and especially when releasing the throttle or downshifting is the highlight to me. It really transforms a good sounding car into a truly amazing sounding machine. It is a joy to hear this high revving, naturally aspirated engine scream with this exhaust.
Just WOW! This system made my 911 991.1 sound like I always wanted it to sound!! This system was super easy to install and the fitment was spot on. So to the men and women who make these systems, great job and I’m so appreciative for good quality workmanship!!
1st impression, excellent quality and good development of sound tunes according to rpm and engine load. Feels so complete and exited. 2nd, sound is superb. Before 2000 rpm, there is barely any exhaust note which is great for 7th gear cruise. Between 2000 and 3000 rpm, deep and thick throttle, asking for more. After 3000 rpm, it's wild and raw, like having sex. 3rd, no installation guide so I managed to install it in 5 days including many subtle changes to reach full satisfaction. 4th, a little tip, cut off side muffle and burn the studs cherry red then a little puch it will come off without bending the flat surface. 5th, the only drawback is that I can no longer going back to 32mpg anymore, now it's sitting at 25mpg because I need to avoid dropping off 3000 rpm ^_^ Absolutely worth it for the connection to the car with open top. 6th, Advise to upgrade transmission mount and engine mount.
