Replace your Porsche factory super restrictive Boxster Cayman OEM airbox and throttle body inlet pipe to a SUPER High Flow professional racing derive intake for significant power increase, and improve engine intake sound.  Porsche deliberately restricted each & every Boxster Cayman cars power to ensure that no 911 owner will ever be faced by a fast power Boxster Cayman. The Boxster Cayman was Porsche's entry lever car. Fabspeed's intake and exhaust will 100% remedy all of that>>>

NOTE:

  • Requires additional modification and an extension sleeve for the large silicone hose to be compatible with the 82mm GT3 Throttle body upgrade
  • Fabspeed recommends having this intake system installed by a qualified technician, as the engine must be lowered from the vehicle in order to remove the factory air box in one piece.  Alternatively, the factory air box can be cut into sections and removed with the engine in-place, but the factory air box will be no be re-usable.  Additional modifications maybe required to the insulation and lining at the air filter location. This intake system is recommended for racing and track use due to the aggressive intake sound and the required installation.

Couldn't be happier. I wanted to add a little power to my Porsche 911 Carrera S (997.1) but didn't want check engine lights or obnoxious sound. I worked with Jason and ended up getting a GT3 throttle body and an IPD plenum with a BMC air filter and the famous Fabspeed Sport exhaust. I seriously couldn't be happier. Talk about bang for your buck! It's a whole new car. Everything works together perfectly. No torque loss at all, in fact, I found some. Mid range is more alive and she just doesn't stop pulling now. The sounds is pretty much the same at low RPMs but my God when you jump on it, it sounds fantastic. No highway drone at all. I was considering the x-pipe cat delete but Jason explained that Porsches, especially naturally aspirated (non turbo) like a little back pressure and if I was not looking for too aggressive sound I should stick with what he suggested. He knows his stuff because the car is now exactly everything I had hoped for. Best car money I have ever spent.

Just got my Fabspeed Maxflo Mufflers installed on my BMW E90 M3! Could not be happier. I have a fully catless setup, and had trouble finding a suitable rear section that would bring the car to reasonable volume levels, reduce drone, and cut down on the inherent "raspiness" of the S65. This exhaust ticks all the boxes! The volume level is surprisingly tame for the car being fully catless, but certainly louder than the stock rear section. In-cabin noise or "drone" while cruising is greatly reduced compared to the muffler delete I was running previously. Exhaust is absolutely perfect for a daily driver. The "rasp" is just right as well. Sounds incredible on the downshifts. Power and low end torque, surprisingly enough, increased greatly. I keep getting compliments from people at car shows, gas stations, and even at stoplights. Fabspeed was an excellent company to deal with as well. The owner Joe Fabiani is a stand up guy, and scheduled me in super early on a Wednesday morning so I could make a business meeting later in the day. The service was fast and professional, and their tech Dustin walked me through the exhaust setup on my car, and allowed me to customize my choice of tips, and assure their placement is perfectly to my liking. I've read some distasteful reviews of Fabspeed as of late, but the majority of them are frankly not true. I am a former employee of the company, and have seen all the ins and outs of the sales team and fabrication facility. There is nothing out of the ordinary to see, and they will give any walk in customer a full tour of the facility showing off the cool equipment that they have to produce their systems. The recent slew of slander and distasteful reviews stem from one customer who tracked his car with a Fabspeed product not designed for the track, voided his warranty, and was stuck with the product. Fabspeed eventually made the situation right, but this customer has a reputation for slandering other businesses and throwing them under the bus for his own personal gain. It is painful to watch a company such as Fabspeed have to endure something like this, hence why I feel the need to address it in this review. Overall, great friendly service, awesome product, cool facility, and one AMAZING sound!

I reached out to Fabspeed via their chat feature on their website and made a deal with their representative on the spot. They called me within a matter of minutes to get my information and a few days later I had my exhaust for my 1988 Carrera. Perfect fit and finish! And did I mention it sounds great! I have no words to express how wonderful the entire Fabspeed Team - especially Vince Dean and his tremendous advice and guidance - have been as they have helped me achieve the maximum power, sound, and performance from my 2019 Cayman S. Vince's advice in regards to the MaxFlo Exhaust system was spot on, and the results have been amazing - an exhaust note completely unleashed (especially when in Sport Mode). Great communication. Prompt and most helpful responses and advice. Fabspeed has been a true gem in all respects. Highly recommend this team.
