The Forza Componenti exhaust valve controller kit is the complete solution that allows the user to take full manual control of the vehicle's vacuum-actuated exhaust bypass valves. The controller has a circuit board that controls the negative side of the exhaust valve vacuum solenoids. The user can manually open the exhaust bypass valves to have that classic engine sound at all speeds and engine RPMs. Of course, you can return the operation of the exhaust valves factory whenever you wish.
This kit provides three different operational modes:
Each kit is assembled using components designed to withstand the rigors of installation in the engine bay of a modern sports car. The enclosure is extruded aluminum. The internal circuit board will withstand the elevated temperatures that tend to exist in the engine bay of a vehicle. The connection cables are constructed using high serviceability TPE insulated cabling rated to 105° C. Connectors are weatherproof automotive connectors to resist moisture.
Plug-and-Play ... 100% Reversible
The kit is completely plug-and-play. Power for the controller comes from the existing connector to the car's exhaust bypass vacuum solenoids, and no wiring modifications are required because the kit includes connector cables for the vacuum solenoids.
Installation is straightforward. You only need to select a location to install the controller, unplug the vacuum solenoids, connect the included cables, and route the cables to the controller. Once installation is complete, you use one button on your remote transmitter to open the exhaust bypass valves and the other button to close the valves and return control to the car ... and, you also have the ability to configure a manual on/off switch that you can mount inside your vehicle.
Since no modifications are required to install, if you ever want to remove the controller the installation is 100% reversible.
The controller includes one Remote Control Transmitter. Additional transmitters are available.

Couldn't be happier. I wanted to add a little power to my Porsche 911 Carrera S (997.1) but didn't want check engine lights or obnoxious sound. I worked with Jason and ended up getting a GT3 throttle body and an IPD plenum with a BMC air filter and the famous Fabspeed Sport exhaust. I seriously couldn't be happier. Talk about bang for your buck! It's a whole new car. Everything works together perfectly. No torque loss at all, in fact, I found some. Mid range is more alive and she just doesn't stop pulling now. The sounds is pretty much the same at low RPMs but my God when you jump on it, it sounds fantastic. No highway drone at all. I was considering the x-pipe cat delete but Jason explained that Porsches, especially naturally aspirated (non turbo) like a little back pressure and if I was not looking for too aggressive sound I should stick with what he suggested. He knows his stuff because the car is now exactly everything I had hoped for. Best car money I have ever spent.
I absolutely love my new X Pipe exhaust for my Porsche Cayman. There was an issue with the new exhaust tips fitting correctly. I contacted Fabspeed and spoke with Ted. Their customer service is beyond anything I have ever experienced before. Ted shipped me a set of new exhaust tips and they fit perfectly. I've gotten many compliments on how they transform the look of the car. I will be ordering a full exhaust sometime next year and am excited it will be from Fabspeed. I recommend this company 12/10.
Extremely high quality product and great comms with their team. I bought the Fabspeed X Pipe and 200 cell Sports cats which have been fitted to my 1997 Porsche 993 C2S widebody for several months now and they are excellent! Firstly, they arrived in the UK carefully packaged and looking like works of art and much lighter than the stock item. The Porsche shop that fitted them for me were also very impressed with the quality and the perfect fitment. I have combined the Fabspeed X Pipe and Sports cat with the Fister Stage I which in my mind is perfect – a more throaty cold start which settles to a nice idle and produces a more aggressive tone at higher revs and enhances the classic air cooled sound without being too loud and has zero drone. Engine responsiveness and urgency also seems to have improved. The car sounds great and I am regularly asked for the details of the exhaust set up.
Very special thank you to DJ at Fabspeed. DJ answered my call late in the business day. We chatted about exhaust options available for my air cooled Porsche. He was very patient and knowledgeable. I told him I'd call the next day to follow up as I wanted to do more research on their products. I call the next day, speak to DJ, and settle on several performance parts for my Porsche. Best part, all items were in stock and able to be picked up since I'm local to their shop. I arrive at the shop at the agreed upon time. Items were already packaged and ready for pick up. The cherry on top was an offer from DJ to tour the shop and see "where the magic happens." I really appreciated this and enjoyed hearing about how Fabspeed started and where it's headed. Now that I'm part of their community, I'm looking forward to attending their open houses. I will be back in the future. Fabspeed is more than a "shop."
