The Fabspeed Motorsport USA Valvetronic Titanium Cat-Back Exhaust System gives the 992 GT3/ GT3RS a truly exotic sports car sound, all while retaining the functionality of PSE (Porsche Sport Exhaust). Our design process started with 3D scanning the entire OEM exhaust system using our CREAFORM 700 Handscan so that we could make a complete Solidworks 3D model of the exhaust. We then designed the exhaust and fixtures using that model so that the exhaust fit perfectly to OEM standards. After multiple revisions for maximum flat 6 GT3 high pitched sound quality and real dyno development and repeated dyno testing, we decided to use our signature cast 70mm 2.75" X-Pipe to tie the two cylinder banks together for exhaust scavenging and to defeat resonance. The exhaust valves are made by Helical Limited in the United Kingdom. These ISO 9001-certified valves are the same ULTIMATE QUALITY exhaust valves as used by Ferrari, McLaren, Aston Martin and Porsche use on their GT cars. The piping is mandrel bent from 1 piece Titanium with minimum welding points. NO rediculous stupid PIE cuts or multiple lobster tail welds that is indicative of poor quality and cheap labor no CNC mandrel bending equipment. With Fabspeed you have five different tip options to choose from.
SOUND:
With PSE off our Valvetronic exhaust gives a nice subtle increase in volume. With PSE on it turns the 4.0L's exhaust note into a truly exotic sound with a significant increase in volume. The exhaust note changes from the smooth purr of the OEM exhaust to the aggressive race-bred high pitched F1 sound of a GT3 RSR. If you need to cut down on how loud your exhaust is because of race track rules, we sell turn down tips that cut 3-6db of exhaust SPL.
POWER:
This system improves Porsche’s design by increasing pipe diameter from 2.5 in to 2.75inch 70MM and using our signature investment cast X-pipe instead of the factory H-Pipe. On our DynoJet we saw +17.5 crank HP or +14 whp at 4200 RPM and a healthy dose of torque down low at 4200 RPM gaining 17 ft/lbs of tq. Been a regular customer for a while now and I must say that they're the best at what they do! Extremely high quality product and great comms with their team. I bought the Fabspeed X Pipe and 200 cell Sports cats which have been fitted to my 1997 Porsche 993 C2S widebody for several months now and they are excellent! Firstly, they arrived in the UK carefully packaged and looking like works of art and much lighter than the stock item. The Porsche shop that fitted them for me were also very impressed with the quality and the perfect fitment. I have combined the Fabspeed X Pipe and Sports cat with the Fister Stage I which in my mind is perfect – a more throaty cold start which settles to a nice idle and produces a more aggressive tone at higher revs and enhances the classic air cooled sound without being too loud and has zero drone. Engine responsiveness and urgency also seems to have improved. The car sounds great and I am regularly asked for the details of the exhaust set up.
i have their secondary cat by pass pipes and maxflow mufflers on my 958s. i also have their supersport exhaust on my 991. both sound amazing. i recently had a minor concern/problem and contacted them. john palo reached out to me the next day and sorted everything out. its been well over a year since i purchased and he took care of me no questions asked. johns customer service is top notch and i just wanted to write this review to thank him. great products and even better customer service, thanks fabspeed and john!
Fabspeed earned these 5 stars. They design and deliver amazing products. They also stand behind their products. I purchased their Porsche 981 X-pipes as well as their proprietary tune. The XperTune made an immediate difference in my base Boxster (2.7 H6). It’s well worth the price in my opinion. The car is so much more fun to drive now! My Fabspeed purchases exceeded my expectations. Joe and Justin made the tune upgrade process seamless and their customer experience and support are industry leading. Fabspeed is the only business I’ll return to for my Porsche needs if I can help it.
Firstly, I want to start off by complimenting the customer service I received from Fabspeed. I worked with Gary from the beginning and he was nothing but helpful, answering all of my questions and helping me understand exactly what I wanted for my car. Once I picked out what I wanted, the ordering process was easy and the package came FAST! Install was easy and the end results were AMAZING. Simply installing their headers took my car from sounding cool to COOL!! I get so many compliments on how the car sounds and everyone is blown away to learn that I only installed headers with no tune.
