The AMG 55 Boost Kit utilizes an
OE crank pulley modified to a larger diameter. The pulley is CNC machined,
the diameter increased and precision balanced to ensure a long service
life and full vibration dampening. A new belt idler and serpentine
belt is also provided to maintain OE specification for belt tension.

KLEEMANN 304 Stainless Steel mandrel
bent tube headers provide a larger primary pipe diameter for each
cylinder. The merge collector is up to 1.7 times the size of a factory
unit. Down Pipes are also mandrel bent for a perfect fit. These headers
greatly improve gas flow and reduce backpressure in the exhaust system
freeing “trapped” horsepower from the engine. The headers
can be used with factory catalysts or in conjunction with KLEEMANN
200 cell metal catalysts for maximum performance gain.

FabSpeed Motorsports recently installed a KLEEMANN
header system on a 2003 Mercedes-Benz E55 AMG. Power increased by
+40 HP, +50 lbs. torque. Installation and fabrication for the header
system was completed in one day with no CEL’s.

| KOMPRESSOR SYSTEM |
The KLEEMANN twin-screw kompressor system for V6
and V8 engines is the very essence of the KLEEMANN slogan “Comfort
Power.” High power output combined with a low boost pressure
of just 0.5 bar makes the system safe and provides long-term durability
for the engine. The KLEEMANN compressor system is a Lysholm type twin-screw,
positive displacement compressor with an integrated air-to-water intercooler
and is the only known system to combine the intake manifold, compressor
and intercooler into one integral unit. The intercooler is such a
superior design that it holds its own patent. The system design was
chosen because of its ability to develop boost at very low engine
revs, and to maintain that boost consistently throughout the rev range
until maximum engine revs is reached. As a result, the engine has
a characteristic smooth power bandwith no peaks or valleys-just immediate
power on demand without any hesitation.

V-12 BITURBO |
For the powerful 6.0 litre V12 AMG engine, KLEEMANN
offers and ECU tuning program that adds +127 HP and 300 Nm (222 lb-ft)
t the car’s already incredible power output. The ECU performance
kit is available for the SL 65 AMG, CL 65 AMG, and the S 65 AMG. For
the 5.5 litre Mercedes-Benz V12 engine with biturbo, KLEEMANN offers
a two stage tuning program with power upgrades of +50 HP or +127 HP
respectively.The KLEEMANN biturbo performance kit is available for
the following models: SL (R230), S-Class (W220), CL (CL215), and the
Mabach 57/62. Below you can see the specifications for the tuning
stages of both the 5.5 Litre engine and the 6.0 litre engine.

Performance suspensions are often
too harsh for everyday use, while a standard suspension setup is too
soft for sporty driving and quick handling. With the KLEEMANN Speed
Sensitive Suspension, you can have both a comfortable street ride
along with outstanding handling and driving dynamics for a more sporty
driving experience. In simple terms, the KLEEMANN Speed Sensitive
Suspension becomes more firm the faster you drive.The suspension system
includes progressive rate springs and high nitrogen gas charged dampers.
The KLEEMANN Speed Sensitive Suspension fits all C-Class (W203), CLK-Class
(W208 & W209), and E-Class (W210) models, and is currently under
development for the SLK (R171) and E-Class (W211)

models with a distinguished and custom-tailored aerodynamic program
that meets every need and personal taste.Fitting aerodynamic parts
to an already optimized car design is no easy task. Not only must
the KLEEMANN exterior designers take factors like wind resistance
into consideration, they must also be true to the car’s original
design. A KLEEMANN designed car is supposed to look more attractive
than a normal Mercedes-Benz, but it must not under any circumstance
confuse the car’s overall appearance. |
